Friends Of The INYO is a non-profit conservation organization, based in Bishop, CA., dedicated to preservation-exploration-stewardship of the region’s public lands.

Approximately 95% of the region’s lands are owned by the American people and Friends Of The INYO is working to ensure the Eastern Sierra remains wild and free for future generations of people and wildlife.

This Summer, beginning July 16th, you can volunteer to clean up locations around Mammoth beginning with Horseshoe Lake, Duck Pass Trail, Sherwin Lakes Trail and Inyo Craters.

Schedule of Upcoming Events:

July 16, 2011: Horseshoe Lake

July 30, 2011: Coldwater Trails (Duck Pass, Emerald/Heart Lakes)

August 13,2011: Inyo Craters

August 27,2011: Lake George

September 11,2011: Convict Lake
