At Mammoth We Also Have A Nordic State Of Mind

In addition to Mammoth Mountain, we also have great Nordic skiing at the Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center. Enjoy 19 miles of freshly groomed track that saunters through the Lakes Basin. Striding, skate skiing, or snowshoes are the preferred means of travel during Winter months. The Ski Center is located next to Tamarack Lodge in Mammoth Lakes, Ca.

Upcoming events, at Tamarack, include the 4th Annual Mammoth Winter Biathlon March 25-27, 2011. You can choose to compete in the 42km marathon or the 21km half-marathon race.

The Mammoth Marathon takes place April 3, 2011. Again, choose to compete in the 42km marathon or 21km half-marathon.

When you're done, head to Mammoth Healing Arts Centre for a massage and/or spa treatment.
