First The Snow. I just checked the forecast and over the next 36 hours we're expecting 4-6 inches. The 10 day forecast is for snow showers EVERY DAY through March 27th. Plan to visit Mammoth the week of the 28th to get your fresh tracks!

The Deals. Mammoth Value Pass: MVP12 is the pass that offers unlimited access to ski/ride Mammoth Mountain and June Mountain, the convenience of never having to stand in a ticket line and the freedom to enjoy a few hours on the mountain without paying for a full day. Buy yours starting April 1st, but be advised that a limited number of these passes are being sold. Unlike many previous years, this pass is available to the general public-not just current members- and it's selling price is $659 for adults (19-64), $494 for youths (13-18) and $329 for children and seniors (7-12 and 65-79) . The FUN. Come participate in the 4th Annual Mammoth Winter Biathlon. This event combines cross-country skiing and marksmanship into a challenging race March 25-27, 2011. Registration is open so don't miss out.

The best female riders in the world, and mascots, competing in the half pipe and the Cluck Off Big Air?! This means that the Roxy Chicken Jam is taking over Mammoth Mountain March 24-27 with a non-stop line-up of riding, music, mascots and a FREE live concert by Grammy Winner LaRoux and Trouble Andrew, in The Village on March 26.

On April 2 the 4th Annual Ultimate Boarder Triathlon snowboard contest comes to Mammoth for its' first stop. From a classic California reef break, to a picturesque snow covered mountain and ending on a custom designed skate ramp. The Ultimate Boarder Championship challenges the best crossover athletes in one triathlon.
